Adam Gallant, Microsoft
Adam Gallant is a 17 year veteran at Microsoft Canada, working in a variety of positions focusing on software development and techniques. In his current role, Adam works with Microsoft’s customers and partners in helping them learn and deploy Microsoft ALM platform, Visual Studio 2012. While Adam specializes in the details of implementation of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server, he has a broad background in development processes, platforms, and technologies, as well as quality assurance techniques. He is currently focused on helping customers to continue to derive efficiencies in the software development space on the Microsoft platform.
Christin Wiedemann, PQA
After finishing her PhD in Physics at Stockholm University, Christin Wiedemann started working as a software developer for the Swedish consulting company HiQ. Christin soon discovered that software testing was more interesting and challenging than development and joined the Swedish test company AddQ Consulting. There, she worked as a tester, test lead and trainer, giving courses on agile testing, test design and exploratory testing throughout Europe. Christin developed a course on exploratory testing, and is a co-creator of the exploratory testing approach xBTM. Christin currently lives in Vancouver, where she joined Professional Quality Assurance (PQA) Ltd. and where she continues to use her scientific background and pedagogic abilities to develop her own skills and those of others.
Dana Armstrong, Nationwide Insurance
Dana Armstrong has been a tester for Nationwide Insurance for the past 10 years and has been in a Lead role for the last 6, 5 of which have been spent practicing the Agile Process. He began his testing career writing test cases and running regression tests. Dana Armstrong assumed the Lead role on Nationwide’s Break-Fix team where he began focusing his attention towards test case writing. He has trained and mentored employees on testing techniques and how to write easy-to-follow test cases. He has spent the last year as the test lead for a web development team where test automation consumes the majority of their testing efforts in an Agile work environment.

Jane is a Manager in the Technology Risk group of Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk services practice. Jane has 18 years working in technology primarily in PM, PMO and QA roles.
